The Mercedes Sprinter Third Brake Light Backup Camera is equipped with a 150° backup camera that features a MT9V139 lens and night vision capabilities. It includes all necessary wires, connectors, and mounts. The Third Brake Light is completely waterproof with an IP68 rating and is highly durable, shock-resistant with a 10G vibration rating (the highest in the industry). It also comes with a full year warranty. The camera is available with a cable (select length from dropdown) and the option for a 5 Pin connection (to connect to our systems) or an RCA adapter (to connect to an external display). With a rotatable lens, the camera offers the flexibility to view the hitch or traffic, and can be used on all new Sprinter Bodies from 2007-2018.
Connecting to a factory radio?
Follow these steps (Please note this must be done by a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Dealer):
1. Update the V-Doc
2. Reflash the FR8
3. Install the RVS-501N-3 Switcher Box
4. Install the RVS-SSMB Adaptor
